For those of you who don't know, Gabrielle Giffords is my Congresswoman. I have run for the House before, and I have considered what manner of security I might have as a Congresswoman. I would not only be armed, but I would make sure I had armed aides. I had thought about this more in the Capitol than in the home district. But it is one of the first things I had thought to arrange.

Largely because if I WERE elected to the House, I would be a controversial figure and would figure that because of my agenda some people might want to shoot me. The problems with and the records of the Drug Cartels ALONE would cause me, if I were a member of Congress from a border state, to ensure my own security and that of my staff. I figured upon it being the primary expense in my expense account.

I mention this because it has come to my attention that there was only one armed person in Gabby's delegation and that was Gabby herself. And of course, she was the first one shot. So no one was left to shoot the shooter.

Accordingly, I must counsel all of my allies in Congress, and all of my allies who are celebrities, to redouble their security efforts. All of you should be armed, should be trained, and as well, as many of your staff should also be armed and trained. Not just for the sake of yourselves, but for the sake of your constituents as well. The assassination in Tucson, and a federal judge was killed, so it is an assassination, might have been mitigated if Gabby had had any armed persons at all on her staff.

Now, let me address the critics who want to blame the "rhetoric" for the actions of a clearly disturbed kid. No, I will not abandon my rhetoric. What happened to Gabby, unfortunate as it is, changes nothing about the Congress, and changes nothing about the federal government. The Congress and the federal government are still engaged in unconstitutional actions, often actions which are treasonous. THIS HAS NOT CHANGED. The concept that we who are patriots and cherish freedom may still have to "shoot people" one day in order to restore liberty HAS NOT CHANGED.

All you foaming Leftists who want to blame Sarah Palin, Sharron Angle, and Jesse Kelly, the person I supported in the primaries and the general election for this congressional seat, need to look in the mirror. Your Mao loving people who surround Obama, such as Van Jones, Bill Ayres, Bernadine Dohrn, etc., have been BEGGING for this kind of violent response for YEARS. Now that you get it, and from one of your own, you want to blame US??? BULL FUCKING SHIT!!!

Gabby's shooting has nothing to do with us. Gabby is far closer to being one of US than being one of YOU. One of YOU shot her, you liberal pukes.

I must, I regret to say, respond to the legislators and commentators calling for further gun control in the wake of this tragedy. And I told you this YEARS ago. I told you that unstable people would probably begin to engage in this kind of behavior. I told you that if you people tried to use these incidents as a lever to suspend First Amendment rights, Second Amendment rights, or Fourth Amendment rights, that THEN would be when the line is crossed. And that if you succeeded in doing that or trying that on a grand scale, then you WOULD have a revolution on your hands, because then it WOULD be us doing the shooting. THAT HAS ALSO NOT CHANGED.

I am changing none of my articles, none of my essays, none of my blogs, none of my FB or Twitter posts. If my allies feel that they must, that is up to them. I do not back down one iota. Because nothing has changed. Sharron Angle in her campaign did refer to the possibility that "Second Amendment remedies" may be needed to avert all this treason. And THAT HAS NOT CHANGED over the weekend. And she was never wrong about that.

I pray for the recovery of those who were assaulted, especially Gabby, whose progress has been near miraculous. I pray for the souls of the dead. I pray for the people of the United States. But nothing has changed. The treason of DC, and the treason of the feds, has not changed. And because THAT has not changed, WE cannot change. We are still at war, and the war has still been declared against US. That has not changed.
